The traditional Oktoberfest beer is a chestnut brown, malty beer. In the 70’s, German breweries started making paler, hoppier, higher-alcohol beers for the Oktoberfest celebration, and these are what are now widely served at the Munich Oktoberfest celebration. Our version still has a bit more malt character than most Festbiers, but is paler, cleaner, and hoppier than our traditional Oktoberfest beer.
