As I’m sure everyone knows, Governor DeWine announced that all bars and restaurants (and breweries) are required to close. We’re concerned about our employees, our business and other breweries, bars and restaurants. Nothing is more important than human life, and we fully support this temporary closure.

Breweries, bars and restaurants operate on very thin margins. Most don’t have the financial resources to withstand an extended closure such as this. March is typically one of the busiest months for most breweries, bars and restaurants. West Side Brewing is no exception. March Madness, St, Patrick’s Day, Reds Opening Day and FC Cincinnati Opening Day all help make it a great month for us - allowing us to build up cash reserves to make it through the slower months. Instead of booming business, however, we’ve had to close our doors. The sad reality is that some of the breweries, bars, and restaurants that closed their doors last night, may never re-open them. 

We have an amazing team at West Side Brewing, and we’ll do what we can to take care of our staff, while also meeting our financial obligations, but this will be difficult to say the least.

We need your support during this challenging time. Here are a few ways you can help:

• eGift cards from $5-$500 are available for purchase on our website. Buy one for yourself. Buy some for friends and family. Encourage others to buy gift cards. Your gift card purchase will provide us with necessary funds to pay the bills while our taproom is closed. And once we re-open, you’ll be able to come in and drink beer that you’ve already paid for!
• Buy our beer! 
  • The brewery will remain open from 4-7pm Mon-Sat to sell carry-out 6-packs and merchandise. We’re working with the food trucks that have already been scheduled - many of them will be serving To-Go meals. 
  • For those of you with kegerators at home, we’re offering all ⅙ and ½ barrels at 10% off. Please shoot an email to info@westsidebrewing.com ahead of time and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up between 4-7pm.
  • You can also continue to buy our 6-packs at Kroger, Jungle Jim’s, Party Source and all our other retail partners. 

In addition to our brewery, please support other breweries, bars and restaurants in any way you can. Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe and healthy.
